These terms cover taking part in German Shepherds of Australia Volume Two, a photographic book produced by Living Image Photography in support of German Shepherd Rescue Victoria. By registering your dog you agree to the terms below.
Taking part and the donation
To take part you make a $100 donation. 100% of that donation is given directly to German Shepherd Rescue Victoria. Taking part includes your dog's place in the book and a portrait sitting. Because the $100 is a charitable donation passed in full to the rescue, it is not refundable once your place is confirmed.
The portrait sitting
Sittings are arranged by appointment at a location agreed with you, across Victoria, the ACT, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland. Dates depend on availability and weather, and we will work with you to find a time that suits you and your dog. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours' notice where you can. We know life happens, and a one-off is no trouble, but repeated no-shows may mean your place is offered to another dog on the list.
The book and your dog's images
By taking part you grant Living Image Photography permission to photograph your dog and to use those photographs in German Shepherds of Australia (in any edition), in promotion of the book and the rescue, and in Living Image Photography's own portfolio, website and social media. Living Image Photography retains copyright in all photographs it creates, as is standard for professional photography. Inclusion in the book is subject to the photographer's selection and the design of each volume.
Artwork
After your sitting you are welcome to view and choose photographic artwork, with a $100 credit toward a wall or tabletop piece. Choosing artwork is entirely optional. Artwork is handcrafted to order, and prices, materials and timeframes are confirmed with you before any order is placed. The $100 credit applies to artwork only, not to a copy of the book.
The book as a purchase
A copy of the hardcover book is a separate keepsake, priced at $150 plus shipping, and is not included in the participation donation.
Your privacy
The details you give us when you register are used only to contact you about taking part and to arrange your sitting. We do not sell or share your details. See how to reach us below if you would like your details removed.
Care and safety
Your dog remains in your care throughout the sitting. You know your dog best, and you are responsible for their behaviour and wellbeing on the day. Please let us know in advance of anything that helps us keep the sitting calm and safe for everyone.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page.
